Bon Air Presbyterian Church follows the PC(USA) liturgical year, and celebrates certain Sundays and festivals with special Worship Services.
Christmas Eve
Ash Wednesday
A service of quiet reflection that begins the season of Lent. The service includes the imposition of ashes.

Palm Sunday
As Jesus made his way into Jerusalem, the people in the crowd celebrated with palm branches and placed them down at Jesus’ feet. We celebrate with hymns and palms are distributed.
Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday begins the Three Days (or Triduum), remembering the new commandment that Christ gave us in word and deed as he taught us how to love one another. We conclude the service with the traditional “stripping of the church” in silence, preparing us for Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday is the center of the Christian year. Our church joyfully proclaims the good news that is at the very heart of the gospel: that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead. We celebrate with brass to accompany our chancel choir to enhance our festive celebration. Traditional Easter Lilies adorn our chancel. Many times, the celebration also includes an Easter Egg gather for children, the flowering of the cross and an Easter breakfast.

Pentecost
Pentecost celebrates the Holy Spirit descending upon the early followers of Jesus when they began the church.
