The Congregational Care Ministry Team brings together members who want to help with members who are in need of help.

One day you might be the helper, another day you might need the help. If you need help, or if you would like to help, contact the church office and we will be so happy to respond.

To sign up and participate in any of the listed activities below, please contact the church office for more information.

Many kinds of help are available. One simple but effective ministry is sending Condolence, Thinking of you, and Get-Well cards.

The Crisis Meals Team responds to health and life crises with the comfort of home cooked meals.

HOBS (Helping Our Brothers and Sisters) provides help to members in need, performing odd jobs and making gently used health equipment available as needed. Congregational Care members also provide transportation to appointments.

Visits and Home Communion are services we love to provide to members who are not able to join us for in-person worship.

When a baby is born, the Cradle Cross Ministry places a rose on the baptismal font during worship. The rose is delivered to the family after the service.

Prayer requests may be sent to the Prayer Chain Ministry by emailing them to Deborah Houghton at debho@comcast.net. Over a hundred members of the congregation pray for those on the prayer list.

The devotional, These Days, a monthly devotional booklet published by our denomination, is provided in the Welcome Center.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry provides beautiful, hand-knit prayer shawls to members who are ill or in need. The shawls are knit by members and are blessed during a service once a year.

Bereavement Support allows members of Congregational Care to personally contact other members with materials that are timed for each phase of the journey of grief.

The Memorial Reception Committee organizes beautiful receptions for the benefit of families and worshippers.

The Memorial Garden Committee provides for the maintenance of the Memorial Garden and organizes the memorial services in the garden. Each year in May there is a special service of remembrance in the Memorial Garden.
