Stewardship Campaign

Annual Stewardship Campaign – Gratitude for Beginnings

When God began to create the heavens and the earth- the earth was without shape or form, it was dark over the deep sea, and God’s wind swept over the waters- God said, “Let there be light.” And so light appeared. God saw how good the light was. God separated the light from the darkness. God named the light Day and the darkness Night. (Genesis 1:1-5)

During this stewardship season, we have been reflecting on new beginnings in our congregation. If we look back to the very beginning, Genesis 1:1-5 reminds us that God created everything, so all that we have is ultimately from God. We joyfully give back with our time, talents, and financial resources because of our gratitude for the multitude of these gifts.

We kicked off our annual Stewardship Campaign on Sunday, October 23, when we began distributing pledge packets containing campaign information. Pledge packets were also mailed to households.

To provide an opportunity to ask questions about the annual stewardship campaign, members of the Stewardship Ministry Team will be available to answer questions at three informational sessions. Please feel free to join any of these sessions – no need to sign-up:

  • Wednesday, October 26 @ 7:00 p.m. in Room 103
  • Wednesday, November 2 @ 7:00 p.m. on Zoom (use regular Sunday Worship link)
  • Sunday, November 6 @ 12:15 p.m. in the Parlor

Commitment Sunday is scheduled for November 13, 2022. Pledge cards, either the paper one in the pledge packet or the electronic version on the church web site at, will be dedicated during worship on Commitment Sunday.
