The mission of the Fellowship Ministry is to bring people together to enjoy each other’s company and build connections between members of our church family through a variety of activities.

To participate in any of the listed activities held virtually, please note the Zoom information in the Weekly Emails or contact the church office.

Church Wide Fellowship

Church wide events such as Rally Day at the beginning of each program year in the fall; the annual Pig Roast, Annual Christmas Dinner, and Easter Morning Brunch are planned.

Book Discussion Group

If you enjoy good books, interesting discussions and a shared morning with new and old friends, start your reading now! The group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10:30 AM.

Wednesday Night Dinner

Come connect with your church family while savoring a tasty meal each Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM. Sign-up for either the permanent list or weekly list on the bulletin board in the Welcome Center or call the church office, 804-272-7514, by 10:00 AM on Monday.  The cost is $8.00 per adult and $4.00 per child.

Chef’s Club

The Chef’s Club consists of five teams of cooks, servers, table setters, and clean-up crews who prepare the food for Wednesday Night Dinner and for special events held during the year. Volunteers are always welcomed! Contract Judy Clayton or the church office.

Presbyterian Women

Sister’s Circle – Join the group on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10:30 AM for bible study. (Currently on Zoom)
Prime Time Circle is a fellowship group designed for women who wish to build the bonds of Christian friendship. The group meets on the 1st Monday of every month at 2:00 PM for social activities, speakers and community service.

Coffee Café

Coffee Café is open following the 8:30 AM service and before the 11:00 AM service for coffee, tea, light refreshments and conversation. Contact Deborah Houghton to assist.

ROMEOs

“Retired Old Men Eating Out” but you don’t have to be old or retired to join this men’s group that meets monthly for lunch at area restaurants, October – May. Monthly locations are published in the Outreach. Contact Pat Clayton for further information and to make reservations.

Volleyball & Pickleball

People of all levels of skill can enjoy good fellowship, good exercise, and fun each Thursday from 7-9 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Activities rotate between Volleyball and Pickleball.

Special Activities

Special Activities are planned throughout the year such as Faith Night at the Diamond, Movie Night, Chocolate Lover’s Dessert Night, dinner and plays at Riverside Dinner Theater for the Performing Arts in Fredericksburg, Christmas tree decorating in the Fellowship Hall, and Cookie Exchange.
